David M. Engelbrecht

Born in Iowa in 1958, David is a Waverly native. David received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wartburg College in 1979 and received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Drake University Law School in 1982.

On July 1, 1982, David joined his father, and longtime Waverly-area attorney, William H. Engelbrecht, as an associate of the firm, which was then known as Engelbrecht, Ackerman, & Hassman. David now remains as one of the two attorneys for Engelbrecht and Buchholz, PLLC.

Admitted to practice law in the State of Iowa in 1982, David is additionally admitted to practice law before the Northern Federal District Court of Iowa and the United States Supreme Court. David is a member of the Bremer County Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.

Beau D. Buchholz

Born in Iowa in 1983, Beau is a Tripoli native. Beau received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (Cum Laude) in both history and political science from Wartburg College in 2005 and received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado, in December 2007.

After being admitted to the bar in 2008, Beau practiced law in the Waverly-area for three years before joining David as an associate attorney in September 2010. On January 1, 2014, Beau became a partner at Engelbrecht and Buchholz, PLLC. Beau is now the managing member of the firm.

Admitted to practice law in the state of Iowa in 2008, Beau is additionally admitted to practice law before the Northern Federal District Court of Iowa. Beau is a member of the Bremer County Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
